Join us for a delicious and hands-on savory bread-making class! Participants will learn to create a variety of flavorful breads that are perfect for any meal or occasion.

By the end of this hands-on savory bread-making class, participants will:

    • Learn the essential skills to make a variety of savory bread doughs, from basic white and whole wheat to enriched doughs.
    • Understand the process of mixing, kneading, and proofing dough to achieve the perfect texture and rise.

    • Understand how to balance flavors in savory breads and experiment with different fillings and toppings for added texture and taste.
    • Experiment with various toppings, such as seedsgrated cheese, or sea salt, for added flavor and crunch.
  3. Work with Different Types of Leavening Agents
    • Learn the difference between yeast and sourdough starters, and how to work with both to achieve different textures and flavors in your savory breads.
    • Master the art of proofing yeast and adjusting dough hydration for different bread types.
  4. Shape and Form Savory Breads
    • Gain confidence in shaping various types of savory breads, from rustic round loaves to braided breads and baguettes.
    • Learn how to freeform shapes to create artisan-looking loaves.
  5. Bake to Perfection
    • Understand the importance of oven temperature and steam in achieving the perfect crust and crumb.
    • Learn techniques to score the dough for both aesthetic appeal and better oven spring.
  6. Troubleshoot Common Bread-Baking Issues
